WELCOME to my Joe Montana site. I have been gathering resources for quite some time to put this site together. I would love it if you would give me alittle feedback on how to make this site better. He was Joe Cool, the quarterback who never quit, the quarterback who could overcome any deficit, any pressure, any injury. He was the COMEBACK KID. He was a superstar without a superego, as unassuming as he was unflappable, never strutting, never preening, never guaranteeing a victory or trashing an opponent, always sharing the credit for his success with his teammates. Some gifted athletes speak of themselves endlessly in the firest person--"I, I, I ..." Others prefer the third person--"Bo, Bo, Bo..." Joe Montana is the rarest of athletes, one who tends to speak of himself in the second person--" You do this and you do that ...". |
